Dr Craig Richardson is a Partner, Life Sciences at IP Group. Prior to joining IP Group Craig was an Investment Manager at Inventages, one of the world’s largest life science focused venture capital funds. He started his career in new product development for Glaxo Wellcome and subsequently worked as a Commercial Director for a biotech start-up based on assets acquired from Reckitt Benckiser.
He then co-founded a medtech company that launched a new diagnostic for gastrointestinal disease before moving into VC investment. Craig has a first-class honours degree in Pharmacy from Cardiff University and a PhD from the School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham.
He also holds an MBA with Distinction from the University of Warwick where he was awarded a Sainsbury Management Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering.
